WWE NXT Reveals Toxic Attraction Title Contestants For Great American Bash

WWE NXT kicked off one of the most awaited matches of that night, which was the Tag Team Match between Katana Chance, Kayden Carter, Roxanne Perez, and Cora Jade. Whoever wins the match will get a chance at the Toxic Attraction’s NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship at the Great American Bash, and both teams walked away with confidence that they could be the biggest threat. It was a close call at several points throughout the match, but some teamwork by Perez and Jade gave Perez the opportunity to knock Bob Rocks on Carter and seal the deal, winning the match and moving on to the title match against the Toxic Attraction at the Great American Bash.

Early in the bout, Carter and Jade went back and forth with big chops, then Carter stepped up for a move on the top rope and sent Jade to the mat and ticked the opportunity. Chance went over Jade and then did some face-plant mocking with her legs before going for cover, but Jade was fired. Opportunity was surprised to be repulsed by Jade in the cover but she was fired.

Jade kicked the opportunity and then hit a kick before hitting her in her corner and tagging Perez. Perez hit two of the toppers and then slipped away before rolling a chance in the cover but the chance went out. Perez started pressing Chance’s arm and shoulder before tagging at Jade, Jade attacked her arm and went for cover but chance was thrown out.

Jade put her back in her corner and flagged Perez again, Perez closed in with another fist targeting Chance’s arm and shoulder. Opportunity kept trying to get out of the predicament, and eventually made its way out only to be dumped elsewhere. Coincidence halted its momentum and Carter positioned herself, stunned Perez.

Carter hit Perez with his forearms on the chest before attempting to pin but Perez was sent off. Carter picked Perez and flagged in Chance who shot at Perez and went for the pin, but Perez was sent off. Perez tried to make her way to Jade but was cut off by Chance, although Perez reversed a move and slammed Chance into the ropes. She tagged Jade and they raised the chance but she landed on her feet and Carter was tagged, and at that point, the four in the ring were attacking each other.

Perez was hit by a clothesline by Carter and Jade fell outside, Chance and Carter both taking a moment to make a statement. Jade quickly hit back on her team after dropping Carter to the carpet and halting her momentum, then sent a tag to Perez Carter back on the carpet and into the cover, but she managed to kick Carter out of the ring. Perez followed her and hit her head in the arena, but Carter grabbed her next move and then hit her again in the arena, returning the favor.

Carter broke the count and then rolled Perez into the ring and hung her, but she was ejected. Carter attacked Perez’s back and prevented her from tagging Jade, then pressed Perez’s shoulders and arms before stepping back onto her back. Perez was in their corner and Carter and Chance gathered in a smooth motion before Carter locked in with one leg. Perez tried to reach Jade when Chance was flagged but Chance caught her and locked her up for another transmission. Perez was able to roll and advance toward the pin, but the opportunity was out. Perez bought herself some space and was finally tagged in Jade, now sending Mark Carter reeling with a kick and a knee in the face.

Jade went for cover but Carter was kicked out, and was able to get back on her feet long enough to knock Jade to the ground before collapsing on the carpet again. Jade tagged at Perez and Carter hit a big head kick before tagging at Chance, who stepped up for the move, but Jade took her partner out of harm’s way. Then Perez hit the Pop Rocks on Carter and that was enough to pin and win, and now he’ll face Jade and Perez’s Toxic Attraction at the Great American Bash.
